Miami Dolphins’ preseason dates, times revealed, but great uncertainty remains
The Miami Dolphins’ full 2020 schedule, including preseason, is out.
Whether those games will be played as planned, and with fans in the stands, remains to be seen.
The Dolphins on Friday announced their exhibition schedule, a week after the league dropped the dates and times for regular-season games.
The team’s preseason schedule is as follows:
▪ Week 1: at Atlanta Falcons, Friday, Aug. 14, 7 p.m.
▪ Week 2: vs. Philadelphia Eagles, Thursday, Aug. 20, 7:30 p.m.
▪ Week 3: vs. Detroit Lions, Thursday, Aug. 27, 7:30 p.m.
▪ Week 4: at New Orleans Saints, Thursday, Sept. 3, 8 p.m.
All games will appear locally on CBS-4.

All of these dates, times and even locations are subject to change, given the uncertainty surrounding the coronavirus pandemic. However, the state of Florida seems as open as any to hosting sporting events.
“All professional sports are welcome here for practicing and for playing,” Gov. Ron DeSantis said at a news conference this week. “What I would tell commissioners of leagues is, if you have a team in an area where they just won’t let them operate, we’ll find a place for you here in the state of Florida.”
The state is even open to allowing the University of Florida hosting NFL teams whose states have more stringent restrictions.
