Dolphins’ final inactive list includes a couple surprises and an interesting omission
The following players are inactive for the Miami Dolphins’ game against the New England Patriots on Sunday at Gillette Stadium:
Dolphins: WR Allen Hurns, CB Jomal Wiltz, LB Vince Biegel, T J’Marcus Webb, C/G Keaton Sutherland, TE Clive Walford, DE Taco Charlton.
Patriots: QB Cody Kessler, DB Terrence Brooks, CB Jason McCourty, RB Damien Harris, OL Jermaine Eluemunor, TE Ryan Izzo, DL Byron Cowart.
What it means: Charles Harris will play after missing two of the previous three games. However, the Dolphins again will go without Taco Charlton, who has been a scratch for three of the season’s final five games despite leading the team with five sacks. Still, those weren’t big surprises. These were: No Allen Hurns, Vince Biegel or J’Marcus Webb. Expect lots of Isaiah Ford at receiver. Adam Pankey will be the Dolphins’ swing/backup tackle. Guard Evan Boehm will dress for the first time in three weeks. As for the Patriots, they have much to gain with a win, and their inactives reflect that.
