The following players are inactive for the Miami Dolphins’ game against the New York Giants on Sunday at MetLife Stadium:

Dolphins: CB Tae Hayes, S Walt Aikens, FB Chandler Cox, C/G Keaton Sutherland, C/G Evan Boehm, T Adam Pankey, DE Charles Harris.

Giants: QB Daniel Jones, RB Wayne Gallman Jr., G Chad Slade, G Kevin Zeitler, TE Rhett Ellison, TE Evan Engram.

What it means: Charles Harris will be a healthy scratch for the first time in his career, and it’s entirely possible the former first-round pick has played his final down as a Miami Dolphin. Harris has just a half-sack this year and 3 1/2 sacks in 40 games as a pro. Meanwhile, Taco Charlton is back in the mix after getting benched a week ago. On offense, Keaton Sutherland has gone from starter to inactive in a week, suggesting Michael Deiter will be back in the lineup as Miami’s starting left guard. Meanwhile, Evan Boehm was benched after starting eight of the Dolphins’ first 13 games. Shaq Calhoun seems likely to start at right guard again. Elsewhere, new Dolphins Nate Brooks and Jamal Davis will both play today after joining the team Tuesday. As for the Giants, Daniel Jones is out, meaning Eli Manning his is starting what is likely his final home game as a New York Giant.
