Fantasy Alert: Encouraging signs for Dolphins’ DeVante Parker, Albert Wilson

It’s still too early to say for certain, but there are encouraging signs that DeVante Parker and Albert Wilson will be available for Sunday’s Dolphins-Giants game.

Both remained in the concussion protocol as of midday Friday and are officially questionable for Sunday, but neither wore a red noncontact jersey during the team’s final practice of the week.

They participated fully Friday, just five days after suffering concussions. That’s a change from Wednesday and Thursday, when they both were in a red jersey and practiced on a limited basis.

Parker playing would be a boon not just to the Dolphins, but to the millions of fantasy football players in the playoffs.

Parker leads the Dolphins with 55 catches, 882 yards and six touchdowns.

Wilson, meanwhile, has 26 catches for 154 yards and two touchdowns in an injury-shortened season.

Two more injury notes from Friday’s Dolphins practice: defensive tackle Gerald Willis has been ruled out after missing all three days this week with a hip injury. Also, fullback Chandler Cox is doubtful with a shoulder issue.

Former quarterbacks coach Jim Caldwell has made full recovery from the undisclosed medical issue that forced him to take a leave of absence from the Dolphins and wants to be considered for head coaching opportunities, the St. Paul Pioneer Press reported this week.

“He’s been a great coach for a long time,” Flores said. “He’s someone who’s been a mentor, someone I could bounce ideas off of the entire season. “He would be very worthy of being a head coach in this league. I’ll say that over and over and over again.”

The Giants announced that Eli Manning will start Sunday against the Dolphins with Daniel Jones still dealing with a high ankle sprain.
