The Dolphins get the worst possible news about their offensive line
The following players are inactive for Sunday’s game between the Miami Dolphins and New York Jets.
DOLPHINS: QB Ryan Tannehill, C/G Ted Larsen, T Ja’Wuan James, DE Jonathan Woodard, T Laremy Tunsil, TE Durham Smythe, DE Charles Harris.
PACKERS: QB Tim Boyle, WR Randall Cobb, CB Kevin King, CB Will Redmond, S Ibraheim Campbell, T/G Alex Light.
WHAT IT MEANS: Just one opening-day starer on the Dolphins’ offensive line will play: right guard Jesse Davis. Zach Sterup will start at left tackle for Tunsil, Brendel will start at left guard for Larsen and Sam Young will start at right tackle for Ja’Wuan James. Brock Osweiler makes his fifth straight start in place of Tannehill. The only Dolphins’ first-round picks playing against the Packers: DeVante Parker and Minkah Fitzpatrick. For the Packers, Equanimeous St. Brown is expected to start at wide receiver for Cobb and Bashaud Breeland is expected to start at cornerback for King.
