The NFL season is slowly getting closer with each passing day.

Training camp is in full swing, and the Miami Dolphins already have five practices in the book. The Dolphins’ first preseason game is just 10 days away. Yes, football is almost here.

So what better time to bring back the Dolphins in Depth podcast?

The topic on hand for this edition: The Dolphins’ offense.

Talking points include:

The encouraging signs from starting quarterback Ryan Tannehill and the not-so-encouraging signs from backups Brock Osweiler.

“Ageless” Frank Gore impressing the Dolphins at 35 and what value he brings to the team.

The conundrum and confusion at the wide receiver position, where the Dolphins have as many as six players who could vie for playing time. Who will play where? And will this be the year 2015 first-round pick DeVante Parker breaks out?

The continued struggles of the offensive line, which should be better than what it has produced so far.
