Xavien Howard is well enough to play.
Andre Branch, however, is not.
Branch, the Dolphins’ starting defensive end, is inactive for Sunday’s must-win game against the Bills. Branch has been dealing with a knee injury, and while the Dolphins listed him as questionable on their final report of the week, he did not progress enough to play.
Rookie Charles Harris will start for the second time in his young career.

Meanwhile, Howard is good to go after dealing with a pretty significant stomach bug all week. The second-year cornerback picked off Tom Brady twice despite puking on the sidelines of Monday night’s game.
Cordrea Tankersley will miss his second game with ankle and shoulder injuries. Bobby McCain will start on the boundary.
Other Dolphins inactives: quarterback Matt Moore, running back Damien Williams, safety Michael Thomas, guard Isaac Asiata and guard Jermon Bushrod.
Running back Kenyan Drake will start at running back. Jesse Davis starts at right guard and Sam Young at right tackle.
