Less than a week after issuing a statement that the team was withdrawing its latest offer, the San Diego Chargers signed holdout Joey Bosa to a four-year deal Monday morning.

Bosa, a graduate of St. Thomas Aquinas, was the third-overall pick of the Chargers out of Ohio State.

Bosa missed all of training camp and will not play in the Chargers’ preseason finale Thursday against the 49ers but could be ready for the season opener Sept. 11 at Kansas City.

“We look forward to having Joey join us and getting him prepared as quickly as possible for the 2016 season,” GM Tom Telesco said in a statement announcing the news.
