If you are a basketball fan looking for a sign that the NBA season is around the corner, the first sign of the season is upon us.

In February, Groundhog Day is the sign superstitious people use to tell if there will be an early spring or six more weeks of winter.

For Heat fans, Media Day is when the players come out of hibernation and prepare for training camp, which will be held at FAU starting Tuesday.

Monday’s session at Kaseya’s Center means Heat season is coming.
