Miami Heat

Podcast: Storylines, questions from the Miami Heat’s first week of the season

It has been a somewhat shaky start to the season for the Miami Heat, but Wednesday night’s win over the Portland Trail Blazers to begin a three-game West Coast trip helped calm some of the outside panic surrounding the team.

On a new episode of the Miami Herald’s Heat Check podcast, Anthony Chiang and David Wilson went through the various issues that the Heat has faced during its 2-3 start to the season.

Among the topics addressed in this week’s episode:

How the Heat’s offense and defense has looked early on

What has gone wrong during the non-Bam Adebayo and non-Jimmy Butler minutes

The Heat’s bench rotation

Kyle Lowry’s role within the offense

As always, thanks for listening and please continue to rate, review and subscribe on Apple, Spotify or wherever you get your podcasts. A new episode of the Heat Check podcast will be released each week during the NBA season.
