Podcast: As Miami Heat gets healthier, what’s about to change?
The last time the Miami Heat’s leading trio of Bam Adebayo, Jimmy Butler and Kyle Lowry played in a game together was in a Nov. 27 win over the Chicago Bulls.
The good news is the Heat has posted a quality 13-8 record since then despite being short-handed, including Wednesday’s blowout road win over the Atlanta Hawks, to reach the midway point of the season at 26-15. The not-so-good-news is the Heat’s core hasn’t been whole in nearly two months.
In this week’s episode of the Heat Check podcast, Anthony Chiang and David Wilson discussed what could change as the roster slowly but surely returns to full health.
How will the short-handed Heat’s three-point heavy style work when the paint-heavy games of Adebayo and Butler are back? What will the Heat’s rotation look like when players return?
The Heat is in a good spot as it returns to Miami for a long stretch at home that begins Friday against the Hawks. But there are plenty of questions that still need to be answered over the final three months of the season.
This week’s episode ends with the return of The Florida Panthers Minute.
