Dwyane Wade just dyed his hair again. His new do can best be described as hot
Dwyane Wade’s new haircut is fire.
No, seriously.
After a short stint rocking various hair colors, Wade unveiled his new do on Saturday. The new style can best be described as en fuego as the Miami Heat legend dyed his hair black but added a twist in the back: flames.
Wade tapped Jared Esguerra, a 17-year-old hair colorist based in Los Angeles, to handle the design. Despite his youth, Esguerra’s talent is obvious just from his Instagram. Even more impressive is that he taught himself how to do this, according to Allure.
“I was checking out Complex one day and I seen this young man that did this dope art on the back of his principal’s head,” Wade said Saturday on Instagram before turning the camera to Esguerra, “so I reached out to him to see if he can come over and create some magic together.”
And just how did it turn out? Well it depends on whom you ask. A brief scan of the Instagram comments shows Ben Simmons, Candace Parker and even the Heat’s Instagram were fans of Wade’s new do, while others didn’t take kindly to him embracing his inner Dennis Rodman.
Quarantine appears to have awakened something in Wade. The three-time champion’s hair has gone from black to pink to blond to red to now flames in a little more than a month’s time. With that much variability, there’s no telling what he will do next.
