How much does a 3-on-3 game with Shaq cost? One fan paid $60,000 for All-In Challenge auction

Not everyone can claim they threw an alley-oop to a Hall of Famer.

Now, thanks to an All-In Challenge, that list hopefully will include five more names.

One lucky fan just paid $60,000 to play a game of 3-on-3 with four of their friends and Big Diesel himself Shaquille O’Neal.

The auction, which started at $5,000, closed Tuesday evening. A total of 34 bids were placed before reaching the $60,000 selling price.

Odds are the winner didn’t play in the NBA. For that reason, there’s one caveat.

“Don’t worry, you and your buddies won’t have to draw straws to decide who has to check Shaq in the post. Each of you will get the chance, because Shaq will be switching teams to keep things fair,” reads an excerpt from the Fanatics website detailing what they describe as “the most physically daunting pickup game you can imagine.”

The auction’s proceeds will benefit Feeding America, Meals On Wheels, World Central Kitchen and No Kid Hungry, all of which are providing food to those impacted by COVID-19.

O’Neal is just one of the countless celebrities who have donated unbelievably unique experiences for the All-In Challenge. Other opportunities include hanging out with DJ Khaled, playing in the 2021 NBA All-Star Celebrity game and a walk-on role in a Martin Scorsese film.
