Miami Heat launches COVID-19 Resource Center. Here’s how it can help you.

The Miami Heat is expanding its efforts to help the South Florida community during the coronavirus pandemic.

The Heat launced a COVID-19 Resource Center at Heat.com/ResourceCenter on Friday afternoon, which includes special offers for Heat fans and those working on the front lines of the health crisis.

Florida Blue is offering a 24-hour, free emotional support helpline for all Floridians at 833-848-1762.

Baptist Health is offering its Care On Demand platform to fans for free, using the code CARE19.

Pollo Tropical is offering doctors, nurses, first responders, healthcare, USPS, UPS and FedEx workers 50 percent off their order with a valid work ID (or in uniform for first responders). Pollo Tropical is also offering free delivery through April 30 on orders made through the Pollo Tropical mobile app and on pollotropical.com.

Acordis is offering reduced prices on work-from-home office equipment. Consultations are available by calling 888-331-3134 or by visiting http://www.acordiscorp.com/contact-us.html.

The Heat’s Resource Center also includes links to online activities such as home “work-ins,” virtual exercise, meditation and education seminars hosted by Baptist Health South Florida, as well as videos and other educational content with suggestions on how to stay safe during the pandemic.
