Here’s what former Miami Heat star Chris Bosh had to say about not making Hall of Fame
Chris Bosh wasn’t happy about not making the Hall of Fame.
The 11-time All-Star addressed the snub Tuesday on Instagram. But don’t think he’s going to let it get him down. Instead, Bosh plans to move on and encourages everyone to do the same.
“Life goes on, we move on and we’re still great in the things we do,” Bosh, 35, said. “Why? Because we put the work in.”
Kobe Bryant, Tim Duncan and Kevin Garnett were among the eight people named Hall of Fame finalists on Friday. Early in the video, Bosh admitted that being a part of the 2020 class with players that he admired would’ve been special.
“I was really looking forward to going in win this class,” Bosh said. “It still has the chance to be the best class ever assembled.”
Bosh wasn’t the only one disappointed by the snub. When the news broke Friday evening, NBA Twitter did not take it well.
Prior to blood clot issues forcing him into an early retirement, the two-time champion enjoyed a successful, 13 year career with the Miami Heat and the Toronto Raptors. His points (6,914), scoring average (18.0) and free throws made (1,469) all rank fifth in Heat history.
