Miami Heat

Dwyane Wade, Dick Vitale and more react to the brewing Jimmy Butler-T.J. Warren beef

Things got rather spicy during Wednesday’s Heat-Pacers matchup.

Just in case you didn’t see, here’s a brief synopsis: Jimmy Butler and T.J. Warren were going back-and-forth all night. Butler baited Warren into his second technical and an ejection then blew him a kiss good bye. The Heat forward then went on an expletive-laden, postgame rant about Warren and, for good measure, tagged him on Instagram just to make sure he got the message.

The in-game theatrics, however, weren’t even the best part.

As always, the peanut gallery didn’t disappoint. The brewing Butler-Warren beef exploded on social media as everyone wanted to share their opinion.

There were basketball’s elder statesmen,

the keen observers,

the rivalry lovers,

and, of course, the comedians.

The way this game went, Butler probably wasn’t the only one who circled March 20 on their calendars. Remember, the Pacers’ best player in Victor Oladipo didn’t play Wednesday. That shouldn’t be the case in two months.

Start making plans now: you won’t want to miss the next Pacers-Heat matchup.
