Paddock views, new Turn 1 views: F1 Miami Grand Prix general admission tickets go on sale

For those who like to enjoy their qualifying and racing from various vantage points rather than from a single seat, the three-day Campus Pass general admission tickets to the 2025 Formula 1 Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix went on sale Thursday morning.

Miami fourth F1 race weekend is May 2, 3 and 4 at the Miami International Autodrome, the 3.36-mile circuit around Hard Rock Stadium grounds in Miami Gardens. Last year, McLaren’s Lando Norris scored the first win of his career, in an upset over defending and eventual world champion Max Verstappen.

While the actual track action doesn’t include the stadium, unlike tennis’ Miami Open, it’s the stadium access that race organizers argue gives the $430 three-day general admission pass value.

Most uniquely, fans can go into the stadium at the 300 level and see the F1 Team Village and paddock, two areas that might as well be orbiting Alpha Centauri as far as fan access in other F1 venues.

Also, the stadium provides shade from Miami in May, something race organizers say they heard about from fans.

“One of the points on that is us doing a better job of communicating, especially with the campus pass, that they have access to the stadium, which is almost fully shaded on the 300 level, access to restaurants, access to concessions and access to huge mega screens to watch the race,” F1 Miami Grand Prix president Tyler Epp said Thursday.

The viewing areas on stadium helixes allow fans to see various parts of the track from one location. A new viewing area has been added at Turn 1.

Because you can’t bring food into the track, unlike some other major races, 65 food sellers, including 15 from Miami Gardens, are spread around the facilities.
