Inter Miami

Inside Inter Miami: World Cup starts in two weeks. Will Messi be able to play?

Two things you rarely, if ever, see: 10 goals in a soccer game, and Lionel Messi leaving the field before the game is over.

But last Sunday night, both happened in Inter Miami’s last game before the FIFA World Cup break, which ended with the home side beating the Philadelphia Union 6-4 in a wild game that broke an MLS record with eight combined first-half goals.

We go over the craziness, including Luis Suarez’s hat trick and Messi asking to be subbed off in the 73rd minute as Argentina fans and Messi fans all over the world held their breath.

Meanwhile, Casemiro-to-Miami rumors are heating up.

We will break all that down with an update on Messi’s injury situation and discuss whether Inter Miami coach Guillermo Hoyos should remain in his coaching position after the World Cup.

We also look at Team USA’s World Cup roster, which was announced Tuesday, and discuss the latest with the Haitian national team.
