Inside Inter Miami: Berterame debuts alongside Messi as club gets first 2026 win
Slowly but surely, Inter Miami continues to fit the pieces in place for 2026 and beyond.
The club signed Monterrey star forward German Berterame to a $15 million deal through the 2028-29 season with an option for the 2029-30 season, and he made his club debut in last week’s 2-1 exhibition win over Atletico Nacional in Colombia.
Inside Inter Miami hosts Michelle Kaufman and Andre Fernandez review that game, how the team looked compared to the week before in Peru and how Berterame and Micael, who also made his club debut, looked for the first time wearing pink and black.
We have reactions from both players, and Kaufman breaks down who’s still awaiting visas and an injury update on Sergio Reguilon.
We also hear from goalkeeper Dayne St. Clair as he acclimates to his new club.
We also hear from David Ruiz, who is back after missing last year following surgery, and we preview Miami’s next preseason game this weekend in Ecuador against Barcelona de Guayaquil.
