Inside Inter Miami: Messi and Inter Miami are MLS Cup champions, we discuss

After a grueling season that saw Inter Miami play 58 matches over various competitions, Lionel Messi and the pink and black-clad squad capped the Major League Soccer season with its first league championship.

Inside Inter Miami is back - earlier than usual on a Sunday - with a special MLS Cup championship episode to review the club’s 3-1 victory over the Vancouver Whitecaps on Saturday at Chase Stadium.

We look at Messi’s latest brand of magnificence, which earned him MLS Cup Most Valuable Player honors, and the key assists he made to Rodrigo De Paul (first MLS goal) and Tadeo Allende.

We also discuss pending roster moves the club may make this offseason. And we have reactions from team owners David Beckham and Jorge Mas, who also spoke about the team’s future, including Luis Suarez’s looming decision on potential retirement.
