Inter Miami

Inside Inter Miami: Messi at the Super Bowl and continue to take care of business

Lionel Messi and Inter Miami continue to take care of business on the pitch throughout this first preseason under new coach Javier Mascherano.

They’re 4-0.

And they manage to find time to have some fun as the day after a 5-0 victory over Olimpia in Honduras, Messi, Jordi Alba, Luis Suarez and Sergio Busquets were spotted at the Super Bowl.

The night before, Messi scored and had two assists in the victory. We review the main differences so far under Mascherano compared to last year under Tata Martino.

According to a source, our co-host Michelle Kaufman reports that Messi will play on Friday in Tampa vs. Orlando City. Just how much will he be on the field?

Kaufman has injury updates on Alba and Drake Callender injuries as well as David Ruiz’s leg issue.

We also show you the team’s new jersey with pink vertical stripes…almost exactly like Argentina.

Kaufman also sits down with new players - Tadeo Allende, Gonzalo Lujan, Telasco Segovia, and Rocco Rios Novo during a recent media session.

And we wrap it up by looking ahead to what’s next - a matchup in the Concacaf Champions Cup at Kansas City on Tuesday and the MLS opener next Saturday afternoon vs. NYCFC.
