Inter Miami

Inside Inter Miami: Camp begins; Messi, others training with new coach Mascherano

It’s been two months since Inter Miami walked off the field at DRV PNK stadium with an empty feeling.

Their lofty goals of winning the MLS Cup came up far short after losing to Atlanta United in the first round of the playoffs.

Fast forward to Monday. There’s a new coach in Javier Mascherano.

But there’s the same superstar faces like Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and others.

There are some new faces like Fafa Picault, a Haitian-American, local Miami Killian grad, who is thrilled to be back and on the team.

Our hosts Michelle Kaufman and Andre Fernandez break down the roster changes and where the team is headed this preseason which begins this Saturday with a game in Las Vegas against Mexican side, Club America.

Kaufman talks to Drake Callender and Benja Cremaschi, who are training with the U.S. men’s national team and they offer their thoughts of new USMNT coach new coach Mauricio Pochettino.

And we’ll address the ongoing Neymar rumors.
