Inside Inter Miami: Club bids farewell to Tata, meets its new coach, Javier Mascherano

Inter Miami has a new coach, Javier Mascherano, a former teammate of Lionel Messi at Barcelona.

They call him “el jefecito,” which in Spanish means “the little boss.”

But is the club taking too much of a gamble by hiring the 40-year-old former Argentina national team star?

On the latest episode of Inside Inter Miami, our hosts Michelle Kaufman and Andre Fernandez discuss the move to replace veteran coach Tata Martino as the club tries to move on following a disappointing finish to the 2024 MLS season.

We look at Martino’s departure and the reason behind it, plus what personnel moves or any other the club could make in the coming weeks to reload for another run in 2025.

And what will that season look like when it begins?
