Inter Miami is not in the MLS playoffs, but fans will have one last chance to see Lionel Messi and the team this year as the club announced a “Noche d’Or” event for Nov. 10 that includes a friendly match against New York City FC and a pre-game ceremony for Messi to present his eighth Ballon d’Or trophy, which he received last Monday in Paris.

The event at DRV PNK Stadium begins at 6 p.m. and kickoff for the game is 8 p.m. Messi will share a few words and present his trophy to the fans, and there will also be speeches by team co-owner Jorge Mas and MLS commissioner Don Garber.

Inter Miami had planned a trip to China to play two exhibition games Nov. 5 and Nov. 8, but it was canceled at the last minute so the team will play its November friendly at home before the FIFA international break begins Nov. 13.

Season ticket holders will have the first opportunity to purchase tickets when the presale opens on Friday, Nov. 3 at 10 a.m. An access code will be emailed to season ticket holders on Friday morning at 9 a.m. ET. General tickets will go on sale to the public on Friday, Nov. 3 at 2 p.m.

The match will be broadcast on Apple TV through the MLS Season Pass in English and Spanish.

Following the conclusion of the match, the club will host a BRESH after party in the XBTO NW Club.

Specialty food and beverage options will also be available at the event, including $8.88 Ballon d’Or Margaritas, gold fireworks, and a gold carpet.
