Just call them the Lauderhill Strikers.

On Saturday night, the Fort Lauderdale Strikers will make their debut in their new digs, playing host to the Ottawa Fury at Central Broward Stadium in Lauderhill.

The Strikers announced they were leaving their longtime home at Lockhart Stadium last month and played what is said to be their final game there on July 30 with a 1-0 victory over Jacksonville.

Fort Lauderdale is coming off a 1-1 draw against host Jacksonville.

The Strikers, currently ranked 11th out of 12 teams in the NASL standings, got back in the win column early Sunday morning by beating host Miami FC 2-0 after a lengthy weather delay at FIU.

Amauri made his debut with the Strikers in that match and scored in the 86th minute off a pass from Jose Angulo.
