Two Miami Marlins pick up ground in All-Star Game balloting
Two members of the Miami Marlins moved up in the balloting for the upcoming All-Star Game which will be held at Marlins Park on July 11.
In the second update of the online game ballot, outfielders Marcell Ozuna and Giancarlo Stanton both moved up into the top 10 of voting.
In last week’s release, Ozuna wasn’t among the top 20 outfielders to garner votes; this week, he’s up to sixth behind Washington’s Bryce Harper, Colorado’s Charlie Blackmon, Chicago’s Jason Heyward, Chicago’s Ben Zobrist and Atlanta’s Matt Kemp.
Giancarlo Stanton moved up in the second ballot from 12th to a spot behind Ozuna.
