Titletown South Florida: Is a former state champion ready to rise next football season?

Did Miami Norland do enough this offseason to seriously contend for a state football championship?

Titletown South Florida is back taking an early look at some teams and players ahead of the upcoming football season as Miami Herald Sportswriter David Wilson visits the Vikings.

Wilson speaks to longtime Norland coach Daryle Heidelburg, who coached the Vikings to a state title back in 2011 when he had Duke Johnson in the backfield. He also talks to star dual-threat quarterback Ennio Yapoor about the additions on offense and defense that has Norland believing it can topple powerhouses like Miami Central and Miami Northwestern in Class 2M this fall.
