Dade Christian defeats Community School of Naples 49-11
Dade Christian (11-1) scored on its first six possessions and steamrolled Community School of Naples (10-2).
Dewayne Terry and Michael Hurt scored three touchdowns each as the state’s second-ranked team impressed in its playoff opener at home. Quarterback Alec Carr threw a touchdown to both Terry and Hurt, and finished 14 for 17 for 214 yards and three touchdowns.

Michael Hurt: The freshman rushed for 101 yards and two touchdowns and had a 35-yard touchdown catch.
Dewayne Terry: The junior reached the end zone on runs of 5 and 12 yards, snatched an 11-yard touchdown and also made an impact at cornerback.
