South Dade outlasts Southwest 28-14

South Dade pulled away late in the fourth quarter to defeat Southwest 28-14 and advance to the next round of the playoffs.

The Bucs (9-1) were able to break a fourth-quarter tie when Ty’riese Gamble caught a 67-yard touchdown pass down the sideline. The Bucs will play Southridge next week in a regional semifinal. Southwest ends its season 7-4.

Jawon Hamilton: Had 193 yards and a touchdown on 25 carries to lead South Dade.

Ivan Smith: Was second in offensive yards with 86 yards rushing and 32 yards receiving.
