Reagan outlasts Varela 18-14

The Bison (7-3) aavoided the comeback and stopped Varela (4-6) in the final game of the season.

Varela’s first comeback attempt ended after Reagan senior Juan Parra grabbed his second interception of the game with 3:41 left in the fourth quarter. Varela’s final try was a long heave with 1.2 seconds on the clock that fell incomplete.

Luis Yepez: Led Reagan with a 135 yards rushing and a touchdown.

Arturo Mocha: The Varela receiver had five catches for 77 yards.
