South Dade’s James Wiggins ran a 67-yard kickoff and South Dade never looked back in a 48-12 victory over North Miami Beach at North Miami Stadium on Friday.
The Buccaneers (8-1, 3-1) were led by quarterback Darnell Durham. The junior threw for 83 yards and two touchdowns and churned out 70 yards on the ground. North Miami Beach (2-8, 1-4) was led by quarterback Wendell Morrison with 128 yards on the ground in a losing cause.
Durham: South Dade’s junior quarterback threw for 83 yards and two touchdowns. He also ran for 70 yards.
Morrison: The Chargers quarterback led all rushers with 128 yards and scored a touchdown.
