Derek Jackson (5 TDs) leads North Miami in rout of Krop
Derek Jackson of North Miami (3-5, 3-2) wreaked havoc on Krop’s defense and led his team to a 48-21 victory at FIU North Stadium on Friday night.
Jackson combined for five touchdowns: two on the ground and three through the air. Receiver Henry Payoute caught two of those passes in the first half, in which North Miami led 35-7.
Quarterback Matthew Bethel threw four touchdown passes to three different receivers for Krop (4-5, 2-3). Junior receiver Randall St. Felix caught two — one in each half.
