South Dade win over Homestead sets up rare district title tiebreaker Monday against Killian

South Dade (7-1, 3-1) brought home the Centennial Cup with a 42-12 win against rival Homestead (2-8, 0-4) to keep its playoff hopes alive.

South Dade’s win forces a district championship tiebreaker against Killian in a rare in-season rematch at 4 p.m. Monday at Harris Field.

The Bucs’ six touchdowns were scored by six different players.

Bernard Hudson: Bucs defensive end anchored the defensive line and had an impressive interception.

Jawon Hamilton: Led Bucs in rushing with 82 yards and a touchdown.
