Miami High routs Coral Park 53-0 to stay in hunt for playoff spot

Miami High (5-3,1-2) kept its playoff hopes alive with its most dominant performance of the season, a 53-0 vcitory over division rival Coral Park (0-9, 0-4).

The Stings scored on their first six possessions and had five plays of more than 40 yards in the first half.

Miami High had an equally effective defensive performance, recording six sacks and keeping Coral Park from surpassing 30 yards for the game.

Top Two

Marcelo Rodriguez: Miami High quarterback led with 287 yards passing and six touchdowns.

Murphy Theodore: Had four total touchdowns — three receiving and one rushing.
