Doral duo combines for 350 yards rushing, seven TDs in 48-0 win over Mourning

The running game and defense remained relentless through four quarters as host Doral (4-4, 3-4) beat Mourning 48-0 on Thursday night.

Nick Delgado started the rushing onslaught, and Na’qwan Thornton was the primary back in the second half. Delgado recorded 110 yards in the first quarter alone and finished with 219 for the night, and Thornton finished with 131 yards. Both backs combined to score all seven touchdowns: three for Thornton and four for Delgado.

Mourning (1-7, 1-6) came away with two interceptions in the game but could not find the end zone.
