With a plant and burst, James Barnes and Southwest (6-2, 3-1 in District 15-8A) scorched Ferguson (0-8, 0-4) 48-14 at Tropical Park.

Barnes had 83 yards on six touches, with two rushing touchdowns and a punt return for a score in the district victory.

TOP TWO

Gianni McCrea: Had 168 total yards, a rushing score and a receiving score for Southwest.
