Pace outlasts Edison 7-0 for first victory of season

As rain poured continuously throughout the entire game, Pace’s early touchdown was all the offense needed to win a District 8-4A game against visiting Edison (5-3, 1-2). The victory was the first of the season for the Spartans (1-7, 1-2).

Pace recovered a fumble in the first quarter and took advantage of a short field with Terrence Crittenden Jr. scoring from the 1. The rest of the game saw a combined 11 punts and five fumbles.
