Host Reagan won its third game in a row with a 42-0 shutout over Westland Hialeah in a District 16-7A matchup on Senior Day for the Bison on Thursday afternoon.
Sophomore quarterback Hector Vargas led Reagan (4-3, 4-2) with two touchdowns through the air and one on the ground. Reagan led 28-0 at the half and outgained Westland (0-7, 0-6) 195-13 in total yards after two quarters.
Senior running back Julio Creazzola ran in a 45-yard touchdown on the first play of the third quarter to start a running clock. The Bison recovered two Westland fumbles in the first quarter and senior defensive back Angel Fernandez had two interceptions in the second half.

Hector Vargas: The sophomore quarterback threw for two touchdowns and 161 yards on 9 of 17 passing to go with a 5-yard rushing touchdown.
Gonzalo Pirela: The senior receiver caught four passes for 84 yards and one touchdown in the first half.
