Coral Gables stays undefeated, bests Hialeah 15-6

Host Coral Gables improved to 5-0 after getting a short touchdown pass from Voshon Waiters to Amir Rasul with 46 seconds left in the first half and a 23-yard run by Rasul in the fourth to upend Hialeah (3-3).

Down 12-0, Hialeah scored on a 83-yard pass from Jose Palau to Marlon Davis but Coral Gables drove to 12 and ended the scoring on a Sebastian Riella field goal.

TOP TWO

Rasul: Rushed for 73 yards and accounted for both of Gables’ touchdowns.

Palau: Completed five of six passes for 109 yards and a touchdown.
