Edison’s Eldridge Thomas was instant offense as he scored four touchdowns to catapult his team to a 49-21 victory over Braddock (1-3, 0-1) on Friday night at Curtis Park.
In addition to the offense, the defense for Edison (3-1, 0-0) had three interceptions and a 39-yard fumble return by Gerald Payoute. Thomas amassed 255 receiving and rushing yards combined, and Marcel Moise added 96 rushing yards. Albert Peña made extra points, played quarterback, and rushed for 50 yards, including a 12-yard touchdown run.
Alex Victor led Braddock with 100 rushing yards and a 62-yard rushing score.
