South Dade shuts out Palmetto
South Dade is starting to look a lot closer to its 2013 state championship team than the one that missed the playoffs last season.
Jawon Hamilton ran for three touchdowns in the first half and South Dade (3-0) played the entire second half with a running clock against previously unbeaten Palmetto (3-1) in the District 16-8A opener at Harris Field.

Ivan Smith: Rushed for 37 yards and scored on a 17-yard run .Tre'ven Worthen’s touchdown run gave the Bucs a 35-0 halftime lead.
