Coral Gables routs Homestead 45-0
The Cavaliers, ranked No. 13 in the Herald’s South Florida Top 20 poll showed why as they scored early and often and rolled to the easy win at Gables High School in the non-district matchup Friday afternoon.
Running back Amir Rasul led the way for Gables (2-0) with 110 yards on 10 carries and three scores while Johnny Ford ran for 87 yards and one score. The Gables defense dominated as Homestead (1-2) registered just six yards of total offense.
