Miami Springs’ Gerald Anderson and Darryel Bethune Jr. combine for five touchdowns in win over Alonzo Mourning

Miami Springs quarterback Gerald Anderson threw for 218 yards and three touchdowns, and running back Darryel Bethune Jr. ran for 133 yards and two scores as the Golden Hawks beat Alonzo & Tracy Mourning, 42-2, at North Miami Stadium.

Miami Springs (7-2, 4-2 16-7A) built a 21-2 halftime lead after David Bradley caught a 56-yard touchdown pass from Anderson on the first play of the second quarter.

Bradley had 135 yards and two touchdowns on three receptions.

Bethune scored his second 4-yard TD run with 8:48 to play. David Soloman's 4-yard scoring run with 2:33 remaining capped the scoring.

The Sharks got on the board when Miami Springs was flagged for a holding penalty in the end zone after Mourning punter Gregory Popov pinned the Hawks on the 1-yard line following a 36-yard punt.
