Southridge strikes early in 51-7 win over Krop
No. 17 Southridge (2-0) set the tone with 28 first-quarter points, and its defensive secondary delivered some highlight takeaways in a win over host Krop.
Southridge quarterback Drakar Jerry hit Kemori Gamble with two touchdown passes, the latter a 57-yarder. Cliff Smith Jr. ran for two scores, and the Spartans defense held Krop (1-1) to 20 yards on the ground, and forced two botched punts.

Drakar Jerry: Had 102 yards and two TDs on 5-of-8 passing.
Donovan Garnett: Made a highlight-reel interception, and returned it for a big gain to set up a Southridge second-quarter score.
