Booker T. Washington stifles Monsignor Pace in 41-0 victory.
The Tornadoes’ stellar defense fueled a victory early in the season over division rival Monsignor Pace at Jones field.
The Tornadoes (1-1, 1-0) had 12 tackles for loss and three sacks en route to shutting out the Spartans (0-2, 0-1).
The Booker T. offense scored 27 points in the second half behind the tandem of freshman quarterback Daniel Richardson and senior receiver Raymond Flanders, who combined accounted for four of the team’s five touchdowns.
Top Two
Flanders: Had a game-high seven catches for 200 yards and three touchdowns for Booker T Washington.
Jaquan Beaver: Defensive end led Booker T. with 1 1/2 sacks and four tackles for loss.
