Goleman’s Jamal McIntyre torches winless Westland Hialeah in rout

Jamal McIntyre scored three touchdowns and gained 259 yards from scrimmage to lead Goleman (3-6, 2-3) to a 46-0 district win over Westland Hialeah (0-8, 0-4) at Ted Hendricks Stadium. McIntyre ran for 202 yards on 11 carries and also took a bubble screen 57 yards for a touchdown.

Quarterback John Correa, who threw the pass to McIntyre, added three touchdown runs, including a 30-yarder.

Goleman tried an onside kick on every opportunity and recovered three times overall, including twice in the first quarter. Largely because of that, Goleman’s first 18 plays were in Westland’s territory.

Goleman led 26-0 after the first quarter and 40-0 at half before the game went to running time.
