Miami-Dade County’s best athletes delivered more clutch performances move closer to the postseason for the winter sports.

This week, we resume a weekly feature where we ask you to vote for the best performer of the week in Dade County high school sports.

Below is a look at the five candidates from last week’s action. Take our poll below to cast your vote. The poll will be open until Thursday, Jan. 18, around 10 p.m.

You may vote as often as you like until then.

Here are the candidates from last week’s events:

Cameron Boozer, Columbus, boys’ basketball: Boozer scored a game-high 26 points and had seven rebounds, five blocks and four assists to lead the Explorers to an 81-62 win over national top-5 ranked Long Island Lutheran in the Hoophall Invitational.

Romari Robinson, Miami High, boys’ basketball: Robinson scored 16 points and had eight rebounds to lead the Stingarees to a 60-50 win over Belen Jesuit.

Santiago Casserly, MAST, boys’ soccer: Casserly had three goals and two assists to lead the Makos to wins over Columbus, Coral Park and Palmetto, clinching their first GMAC championship.

Pierre-line Senat, Edison, girls’ soccer: Senat had a goal and an assist to help the Red Raiders rally from a 1-0 deficit to beat Palmetto and claim their first ever GMAC championship.

Sami Anes, Palmetto, girls’ basketball: Anes recorded the first quadruple-double in Panthers’ school history, finishing with 10 points, 10 rebounds, 12 steals and 15 assists in a victory over rival Miami Killian.
