Miami-Dade County’s top athletes continued to shine last week.

This week, we resume a weekly feature where we ask you to vote for the best performer of the week in Miami-Dade County high school sports.

Below is a look at the five candidates from last week’s action. Take our poll below to cast your vote. The poll will be open until Thursday, Nov. 30, around 10 p.m.

You may vote as often as you like until then.

Here are the candidates from last week’s events:

Bryce Fitzgerald, Columbus, football: Fitzgerald had three interceptions including one he returned for a touchdown and a fumble recovery to lead the Explorers to a 31-13 comeback win over Western in the Region 4-4M final.

Jonas Duque, St. Brendan, boys’ basketball: Duque scored a combined 55 points in wins over Naples Golden Gate, Cape Coral Mariner and Southwest.

Luciana Picasso, Lourdes, girls’ basketball: Picasso totaled 33 points and 22 rebounds in a pair of wins over Somerset South Homestead and Mater Academy.

William Obando, Dr. Krop, boys’ soccer: Obando scored two goals to lead the Lightning to a 3-2 win over MAST Academy.
