Reagan moves to 2-0 after convincing win
TJ Callan had 116 yards and two touchdowns as Reagan improved to 2-0 with a win over Goleman at Milander Park.
Diego Mendoza caught a 60-yard pass from Tyler Ibarra with 1:36 to play in the first half as the Bison built a 28-8 lead. Goleman’s Tory Myers, who rushed for 52 yards, scored less than a minute earlier on a 5-yard run as the Gators cut into a 21-point deficit.
But Callan’s second touchdown run with 7:57 to go in the third quarter put it away as Reagan handed Goleman its second loss in a row.
Reagan kicker Steven Mejia was 5 for 5 on point-after kicks, and also boomed a 60-yard punt to the 1-yard line.
