One of the top quarterback prospects to ever come out of South Florida, Bridgewater led the Bulls to the state semifinals as a senior before moving on to star at the University of Louisville.
Now a rookie with the Minnesota Vikings, Bridgewater led Louisville to three bowl games, including victories over Miami (in the 2013 Russell Athletic Bowl) and Florida (in the 2013 Sugar Bowl).
Bridgewater was a first-round pick by the Vikings in 2014 (32nd overall) and is expected to take over the Minnesota offense eventually.
Matt Cassel has started the first two games of the season for the Vikings.

Bridgewater, who had a strong training camp, said he’ll learn from the experience.
“Like I said when I got drafted, this is the perfect situation for me,” Bridgewater told reporters in Minnesota after Cassel was named the Vikings’ starter.
“I’m just going to sit back and continue to learn. I’m going to prepare myself as a starter. As a backup, you’re only one play away from being out there with the guys. This is a great situation for me to learn and get a feel for the offense and try and get better.”
